Hi, I’m Holly, creator of Holly Marie Psychotherapy. If you’re feeling trapped by anxiety, OCD, difficult past experiences or self-doubt, you’re not alone. 
These struggles can be overwhelming, but with the right support, they don’t have to control your life. My approach combines creative and evidence-based strategies to help you regain confidence and take back control.

With 13 years of experience as a psychotherapist, I specialize in helping people break free from anxiety, OCD and trauma. I’ll help you understand why your symptoms are present and teach you practical strategies to reduce them—so you can live life on your terms, not dictated by anxiety.

For OCD, I use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), a highly effective therapy that helps you face fears in a safe, controlled way. I also integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which helps you build tolerance to uncertainty and fear- so intrusive thoughts lose their power over you.

For traumatic experiences that you may be struggling to make sense of I use a combination of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to break the pattern of fear and negative beliefs and ACT to to change the relationship with that distress. Your life no longer needs to be characterised by shame, guilt or anger. 
I also have a special interest in perinatal mental health, supporting individuals through pregnancy, postnatal challenges and the transition to parenthood. Loss, grief or fear regarding this time of your life can all be treated, so if this sounds like you, please do not hesitate to reach out.
