About me

I have 12 years’ experience in treating common mental health difficulties such as depression and anxiety conditions. These can all present differently but there are no symptoms that are abnormal. My ethos is to treat people the way I would like my friends or family to be treated; with kindness, respect and using (safe) evidence-based treatments. I have found it an honour to be able to help people sift through the turmoil that these symptoms create and feel hopeful in learning what they need to do to treat their symptoms. Having been through my own struggles and therapy; particularly following the post-partum period with my youngest, I have a greater understanding of the confusion and frustration that can arise when we wrestle with our mental health. Depression and anxiety conditions keep us trapped within the chaos of our symptoms and without treatment it can be hard to see a path through.

The combination of therapies I offer ensure that I will tailor an approach that works and put you in control. You have the strength within you to make a change- my role is to work with you to treat the symptoms. You can expect me to be kind and honest, shining a (gentle) light on habits that need updating. It is a privilege to be on this journey with you.

I have successfully treated many conditions such as anxiety, depression, self esteem, PTSD, perfectionism, OCD, panic disorder, phobias and others. I specialise in pre or post pregnancy (mums, dads and parents). Being a new parent is a trying time and having 2 children myself, it can be incredibly hard to cope. I am passionate about helping people to manage this transition.

  • Peri-natal or Post-natal difficulties

Safe & effective treatment

Evidence based

I keep up with emerging research, regularly attend training events and consistently reflect on my practice, informing my practice and enabling me to provide the highest quality treatment.

Client led

I tailor treatment to each individual, pulling in different strategies and approaches as needed. Life doesn’t follow a script and neither should therapy.
